Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if I cancel? Do I lose my data?

Your GHL sub-account is yours. Your leads, customer data, contact history, and any content in your account stays in your account. If you leave Zing and want to manage GHL yourself or hire another operator, your data goes with you. Zing does not hold your data as a retention mechanism.

Is this just GHL resale? Am I paying for access to GoHighLevel?

No. You're paying for Zing's implementation and operations work — not a platform license. Zing builds the workflows, configures the Conversation AI, sets up your pipelines and follow-up sequences, and operates the system on an ongoing basis. The GHL platform is the engine; Zing is the mechanic and the operator. Your subscription includes everything needed to run.

What exactly does Zing do?

Zing implements and operates GoHighLevel for your business. GoHighLevel is a marketing automation platform — it handles lead capture, follow-up, scheduling, Conversation AI, pipeline management, and more. It takes real configuration work to run correctly. Zing handles that work: from the initial build through day-to-day operations. You get a running marketing system without spending months learning the platform yourself.

Do I need to know anything about GoHighLevel?

No. You don't need to log in, configure workflows, or understand how GHL works. Zing handles everything at the configuration and operations layer. You see the results — leads followed up, bookings confirmed, reviews requested — without managing the system yourself. If you want visibility into what's running, Zing provides that. If you'd rather not think about it, that's fine too.

How long does it take to get running?

Your system goes live in days, not months. Zing uses a snapshot deployment — a pre-built, tested GHL configuration designed for service businesses — rather than building from scratch. Most clients are operational within 7–14 days of signup. The 30/60/90 review cadence then handles optimization from there.

How is Zing different from a marketing agency?

A marketing agency runs ad campaigns and typically charges $1,500–5,000/month as a retainer. They generate leads from paid sources and manage the ad spend. Zing builds and operates the marketing system — the platform that captures, follows up, and books leads from whatever source they come from. These can work together: a marketing agency drives traffic, Zing's system handles everything that happens after a lead lands.

What's the difference between Foundation and Build?

Foundation is the right starting point for most single-location service businesses. It deploys the R6 baseline — core workflows, Conversation AI, 30/60/90 cadence — and handles the standard case well. Build is for businesses where the baseline isn't enough: multiple service lines, faster lead volume, specific workflow requirements, or a sales process that doesn't fit a standard template. Build adds expanded configuration depth and priority onboarding for an additional $130/month.

What is Conversation AI and do I need it?

Conversation AI is GHL's automated messaging layer — it responds to missed calls, web form submissions, and inbound messages automatically, before you're available to reply manually. It's built into every Zing plan. In the Foundation tier, it handles standard scenarios (missed call text-back, web form response, basic qualification). In Build and Scale, it handles more complex scenarios with conditional routing and multi-intent responses. Most service businesses that have tested missed call text-back see a meaningful increase in lead contact rate just from that one automation — because leads hear back in under 60 seconds instead of hours.
